Are you going to like it? Are the right colors in it? Do you really feel the painting? Will it really touch you? These are all very valid questions.
The artist's style
It all becomes a lot easier if the artist's style appeals to you. That is a prerequisite. Where will it hang and what size fits best in that location? Then it is important to choose a theme color together, possibly with a supporting color palette. Last but not least is a conversation about the theme of the painting. What do you want it to radiate?

I still vividly recall the moment I created my very first artistic piece—a candle holder with a handle—when I was just five years old. It's a cherished memory that resurfaced when we cleared out my family home, 35 years later. Throughout my artistic journey, I explored various forms of expression, crafting small sculptures, designing cigarette lighter necklaces, and fashioning sculptured jewelry. These unique creations, made with repurposed metals and an exceptional material became a passion of mine, that I never really let go of. In 2016, I made a significant transition from oil painting to acrylics.
